and about our press freedom, though there are journalists in this country who have paid with their lives to speak truth, many of do enjoy soooo much freedom to speak our minds! especially those of us, non-journalists especially, who blog!

How many of us call someone or something “badoy” ? Haven’t we at one time or another said things like, “she looks like a maid: (mukhang tsimay)? Or something like “she’s so cheap!”. Don’t we prejudge people based on wher they live ..”oh.. she’s from ayala alabang!” … don’t we call someone “a squatter” all because they do not have manners? I agree with you:) You know, it’s time that we do not LYNCH and learn instead to be more loving creatures, after all, we always laud ourselves for living in the ONLY CHRISTIAN nation in asia. don’t we? Also.. I think press freedom means that we allow annoying people to write their piece!

but as i looked at myself in all this, i came to realize that i myself have an ”inner malu”, if you will, at times. i had to repent for thinking i could think myself any different from her because in God’s eyes I am not.

having backslid myself 9 years ago for 3 years, and returning to God like the prodigal son gave me a deeper revelation of grace.

it’s never about us; it’s all about Him.

His love for us doesn’t change. and that’s what brought me to my knees one day and brought me home.
